Warehouse Roof Repairs & Ponding Assessment
Section replacement, penetration sealing and a documented ponding assessment on a low-slope warehouse roof.
Overview
Over two seasons Gazelle handled roof work at an operating warehouse: a deteriorated roof section with rotted wood decking was opened up and re-decked, leaking penetrations and rooftop-unit curbs were patched and sealed, and in June 2026 the owner asked for an inspection of recurring wet areas.
The Challenge
The 2026 inspection found water ponding around drains and rooftop units after rain. Ponding on a low-slope roof shortens membrane life and finds every seam. The owner needed a clear picture of what was urgent and what could wait.
The Work
Earlier work: the failed section was cut out, rotted decking removed and new decking set; curbs and pipe penetrations were cleaned and sealed. The June 2026 assessment found ponding at several areas and recommended a patch-and-seal scope at the low spots.
Where It Stands
The 2026 patch-and-seal recommendation is documented for the owner and has not been authorized yet; it is listed as future work.
