Bathroom Gut Renovation
A dated bathroom taken down to the studs and rebuilt with new tile, waterproofing, vanity, fixtures and lighting.
Overview
Part of a larger project at this home. The existing bathroom was gutted to the framing, the plumbing reworked for the new layout, walls boarded and waterproofed, then tiled floor to ceiling with a new vanity, mirror, fixtures and lighting.
The Challenge
Old framing and plumbing behind the walls had to be dealt with before anything new went in, and the bathroom had to be back in service on schedule.
The Work
Demolition to studs; rough plumbing and electrical coordinated with licensed trades; cement board and waterproofing; floor and wall tile; vanity, mirror, toilet, fixtures and lighting; trim and paint.
Where It Stands
A finished bathroom, photographed on completion.
